Let me introduce you to my favorite skin care that I have been using for almost two years now that I absolutely love! Great makeup starts with great skin!

Maskcara Beauty knew it was important to have an amazing skin care system to pair beautifully with their makeup. This very unique skin care system was created and is one of a kind. Maskcara is the only company who used this exact formula in their cleanser, toner and moisturizer.

The founder of Maskcara Beauty spent years perfecting this system with the creator and made it part of their unique brand. I will talk about how each part of the skin care works. The system is comprised of three steps: cleanser, toner and moisturizer with an extra bonus added just a few months ago in a masque!

First, the cleanser.

Great makeup really does start with great skin! I’ve never been one to be consistent or good about taking care of my skin until recently. I wasn’t one who wanted to invest a lot in skin care or even take the time to use basic skin care. I was even lazy about taking off my makeup each night!

It is so important to clean your face each night even if you aren’t wearing makeup! Cleaning your face from everything that may be on your face from the day is so important. Not only should you take off your makeup but you need to actually clean your skin after you take your makeup off.

Milk Cleanser uses our milk base, which contains a wealth of highly active skin rejuvenating substances in naturally balanced proportions. Washing the skin with moderately or highly alkaline soap or detergents is one of the most common mistakes made that strips away the protective acid layer. This lactic acid creme-based cleanser will gently remove bacteria without stripping or irritating the skin, retaining the natural acid and lipid protective cover of the skin.

Spray cleanser directly on your face or spray in your hand and apply in circular motions to your face, neck, or any areas that need extra care. Rinse gently with warm water and wipe away with a microfiber cloth. We recommend nightly use. For best results, follow with Milk Toner and Milk Creme for moisturized and toned skin.

Next up, toner.

The toner is a step in my skin care that I always took for granted. It was never a priority for so many years. I didn’t see a benefit from using one and I always felt my skin was too dry after using a toner. This toner will not strip your skin of the essential oils it needs. It will prep your skin for moisturizer and help minimize pores and help with overall firmness of your skin.

Milk Toner is used to tone and gently exfoliate while maintaining delicate skin pH. The aloe-vera component is soothing to minor skin irritations, while the witch hazel is an effective astringent to close pores and facilitate blood flow in the skin. The milk base component adds hydrating effects in the skin while the lactic acid provides gentle exfoliation. Vitamins and minerals help keep the skin smooth, healthy, and even.

Toner is great to use for men and women as an after shave. It is great to use on sunburns because of the aloe vera. It is an added step that is so essential and now I don’t miss a night using my toner! Great makeup starts with great skin.

Finally, moisturizer.

This milk moisturizer is my favorite moisturizer ever. I will never use another moisturizer. It is gentle and mild but so effective. I used this moisturizer on my baby’s face when he had eczema. It is so gentle and helped so much! It is also great to use on super dry skin or after sunburns to start healing the skin.

Milk Creme contains 16% natural milk components and moisturizes the driest of skins, leaving you with a youthful glow. With its combination of the alpha-hydroxy lactic acid and vitamins A and E, it gently penetrates the skin surface and helps exfoliate and release dead skin cells. This helps promote healthy skin cell turnover and reduces fine lines and wrinkles. It is non-comedogenic and absorbs into the skin quickly without a lingering greasy feeling. Milk Creme is alcohol free and contains allantoin, jojoba oil, and rhodopsin oil, which are all natural and beneficial to the skin.
