Have you wanted to try highlighting and contouring but thought it sounded too difficult? I’m here to teach you how to HAC with Maskcara IIID Foundation.
Have you seen people talking about highlighting and contouring and wondered why it was even necessary? Let me share with you the amazing benefits of using Maskcara’s IIID Foundation.
You’re Not One Dimensional, And Your Makeup Shouldn’t Be Either.
We believe makeup should be fun, easy, and quick! Maskcara Beauty was founded on the idea that makeup should be used to enhance the true beauty in a woman’s face, rather than covering it up.
You use a highlight color to brighten the center of your face, drawing the attention to your eyes. A contour color will enhance your natural shadows, define your cheekbones and jawline. Then, add a bit of a blush to add a natural pop of color. Finish up with illuminator to add a subtle beautiful glow. Follow this step by step guide on how to HAC with Maskcara IIID Foundation.
Step by Step Guide: How to HAC with Maskcara IIID Foundation
Step 1 – Highlight
First, use the pointed side of your 30 Second HAC brush in a upside down triangle piece under your eyes, down the side of your nose and back up. Also place your highlight color down the bridge of you nose, forehead and chin (all the center most parts of your face). Use your Maskcara HAC girl as your guide.
Step 2 – Contour
Then, flip your brush to the wider side to place your contour color just on the under side of your cheekbones. You can feel with your fingers where your cheekbones are and place the contour directly under it. Start back by your ear and angle down towards the corner of your mouth. Then, place your contour under your jawline and around the edges of your face.
Step 3 – Blush
Next, my favorite part! I apply my blush on the apples of my cheeks and blend lightly backward toward my ear. Maskcara has a blush for everyone. Whether you prefer neutrals, pinks, or reds, there is a blush perfect for you! Blushes are 100% preference. But, if you need a recommendation submit your selfie below and I can help you choose a blush! Maskcara blushes come in three different finishes: matte, glossy and satin.
Step 4 – Illuminator
Finish off your IIID Foundation with a beautiful, natural glow! Add illuminator to the tops of your cheekbones, cupids bow, and the underside of your brow bone. Maskcara has cream and powder illuminators. Any illuminator would look great on you, but if you need help choosing I can always give recommendations.
