IIID Foundation

IIID foundation replaces your liquid or powder foundation. This starter bundle is all you need for a full face of makeup. Apply contour under your cheekbones, around the edges of your face, under your jawline and the sides of your nose. Contour brings dimension to your face and enhances your features. Then, add your highlight color everywhere that you did not apply contour. Follow the HAC (highlight and contour) diagram below. Highlight will give you coverage while brightening your skin tone at the same time.

Lip + cheek and illuminator colors are all universal. You can choose any color you like. Lip + cheek colors are all cream. They will blend beautifully on lips and cheeks. Illuminators are powder or cream. Powder are more dramatic whereas creams are more subtle.

Brushes and tools

I always recommend the IIID brush for beginners. This brush will apply your cream foundation easily. The IIID brush is double ended. You can use either end for contour or highlight whichever you prefer. I usually recommend the pointed end for highlight and the round, blunt end for contour.

A blending sponge is excellent for beginners as well. It will help you blend your IIID foundation easily. Get your sponge wet but be sure to ring out all the water. You want your sponge bouncy and light but not wet. Tap and roll your sponge to blend.

Setting Spray
