I want your makeup to look as flawless as possible! That is why I wanted to share with you some troubleshooting tips with Maskcara Beauty.
If you are anything like me then you are probably excited to be soaking up this weather we have been having lately. If you are basking in the sunshine make sure you have your transition highlight ready to go!
It is so important when using cream IIID foundation from Maskcara Beauty that you use the right colors! This will help the application look as flawless and skin-like as possible.
Each section will go over a few troubleshooting tips for you but if you have further questions please feel free to reach out!
Smooth Surface
If your makeup is looking uneven, this one is for you! When you are applying any makeup, you want to make sure you have a smooth surface that you are applying on. So exfoliate. Twice a week is recommended, but do what is best for your skin. Some people need to do it every 3 days, others only need to do it once a week. I like to use the Milk Masque on my face twice a week to help with this problem.
Oily Skin
Is your makeup coming off really easily? Do you have naturally oily skin? Then you need these tips!
Spray Maskcara Stay Out There Setting Spray before you apply your makeup. This will give your makeup a base to stay on that is not your oily skin. Figure out what works best for you when it comes to applying your makeup after spraying the Stay Spray. I like to just let it dry before applying my makeup but you can rub it in with your hands or blot it dry with a Perfecter Sponge!
Once you have applied your makeup, blend it using your damp Perfecter Sponge. Once everything is blended PRESS (don’t swirl) Vanilla Setting Powder with the Powder Power brush on any problem areas.

Disappearing Contour
Do you feel like the contour you are using disappears once you put it on your face? Or you have to use A LOT of it to get any kind of color to show up? You may be using the wrong color. This happens, it even happened to me!
I found that I was using too much of the wrong shade and I was still not getting the results I wanted. So I switched and now I only need a little bit of contour and I get the results I want.
Highlight Issues
There are several “highlight” issues you could be having. So let’s go through them one by one.
Texture issue. Maybe you feel like the makeup looks clumpy on you or starts to come off after a short period of time. You may think that this is because it is a creme foundation and your skin is either not used to it or it’s just not cut out for creme foundation. In reality, you just need a new color. The color you are using isn’t the right one so it is not sitting correctly on your skin and looks funny. I know that sounds crazy but it is a thing. Let me know and we can get you the right color! Luckily, Maskcara Beauty has an awesome return/exchange policy so you don’t need to worry about it.
Color issue. Do you feel like you’re looking orange or yellow? Yet again, you are having a color issue. You need a different highlight! It is so easy to switch your color, even if you have used it. I can color match you and help you find the correct color for you!
Tips for Tools
My number one tip for using the Maskcara Beauty brushes or the Perfector Sponge is to keep them clean! You need to use Restore Brush cleaner as it is formulated for Maskcara brushes. Having dirty brushes will absolutely make your makeup application more work and less flawless. Just spritz them, wipe with a paper towel and done. Best part…they dry instantly!
That super squishy Perfector sponge should be replaced at least every 3 months.
